Every infusion,
in good time.

The journal remembers the cup; TeaLoveTimer keeps time while you brew it. Pick a tea, see how much leaf and water to use, and let the timer walk you through every infusion — from the first pour to the last.

Brewing Timer 35 Recipes Private by Design
01 ──

Choose. Steep. Pour.

i. CHOOSE

The recipe

Thirty-five recipes to begin with: Japanese and Chinese greens, white tea, gongfu oolong, black tea, pu-erh and herbal. Each gives leaf and water, then every infusion's time and temperature, rinses included.

ii. STEEP

The timer

A calm, full-screen timer: an incense trail that burns down as the leaves steep. Count down, count up past the recipe's time, or run a plain stopwatch. Step through the infusions with one tap, and nudge the next one with − and + as the leaves open. Try it in your browser →

iii. POUR

The chime

A soft chime when it's time to pour. Walk away and the countdown comes with you: onto the Lock Screen, into the Dynamic Island and your Apple Watch's Smart Stack, with a notification when the steep is done.

On Apple Watch, the timer brews on its own: pick a favourite or any tea from the library, set the next steep with the Digital Crown, and feel a tap on the wrist when it's time to pour. Favourites and your own recipes come over from your iPhone and stay on the watch, even when the phone is out of reach.

02 ──

Your leaf, your numbers.

Every recipe is a starting point, never a rule. Customize a copy of any of them, or write your own from scratch for your teaware, your leaf, your taste, with notes of your own. Favourites stay at the top, and the teas you never brew can be hidden.

More leaf today, or a smaller pot? Change leaf and water for the next brew right on the tea page. An experimental setting fits the steep times to the new amounts.

If you brewed longer or shorter than the recipe, keep what you did: when the session ends, update your own recipe or save the times as a new one.

Share a recipe as a link, a file or a QR code, or print it on a label for the tin. Scan one from a friend or a tea packet, check it, and add it to your library. Without the app, the link opens the recipe with a timer in the browser. Your notes stay with you. Your own recipes also copy out as a table for Numbers or Excel.

From a five-second rinse to a six-hour mizudashi, the timer keeps pace. And when the recipe runs out before the leaf does, keep brewing: each extra steep runs a little longer.

Why these times.

The 35 built-in recipes listen to neutral voices first: lab studies, Japan's agriculture ministry and tea competitions, rather than shops with leaf to sell. Every built-in tea page says what is in the cup and why its times are what they are, with the sources named.

Privacy, by design.

TeaLoveTimer has no servers, no accounts and no analytics. Your recipes stay on your device, and on your Apple Watch if you brew there too. A recipe leaves only when you share it, and never with your notes. Reset App in Settings erases everything.

Notifications, camera & Apple Watch: TeaLoveTimer asks to send notifications only to tell you when a steep is done, and schedules them on the device that runs the timer. The watch app receives your favourites and own recipes from your paired iPhone through Apple's WatchConnectivity, between your own devices. The camera opens only when you scan a recipe, and nothing it sees is recorded or sent. Details in the privacy policy.
